I recently discovered this company and the product they make. I’m pretty floored at the quality that can be achieved for such a reasonable price. I’m really hoping I can get my hands on one of these in the future. I need to find something more hardcore to do with one though, based on all the sample footage from GoPro’s website.

Events Manager WordPress Plugin

I recently discovered this sweet Events Manager WordPress plugin. This nifty plugin allows you to set up events, make them recurring, allow for RSVPs, integrate venues with Google maps, and more. As of now the 2.0 is still in beta, but this plugin is lookin’ good so far. I just thought of a few clients this would work great for!

Here are some of the features:

Simple and recurrent events: Events Manager lets you insert simple events, or even events taking place on a regular basis
Locations management: locations are cached, and you can add a picture for each location
RSVP with e-mail notifications: you can specify a number fo spaces for each given event, and let visitors respond to your announcement
Google Maps integration: events are viewable on a map; there’s also a global map, showing all events.
Simple and fully customizable: you can simply install the plugin, activate it and add a widget to your sidebar. but if you’re into theme making , you can customize every single piece of output
Events RSS feed: an RSS feed is provided, for the joy of RSS lovers
Localised and localisable: the plugin is localised in Italian, German, Spanish and Swedish. If you’re a translator, you’re welcome to add your own language localisation
