Road Trip 2009
I (finally) put together some of the clips I shot on my road trip with the lads last August. Enjoy.
Hawaii 2009
I was privileged to have the opportunity to visit the island of Oahu this October. My girlfriend, Lacey, was in the middle of spending a couple months at a Baptist Camp (pkcc.org) located on the west side of the island. She volunteered at the camp, doing anything from painting, laundry, to preparing meals for the campers. In exchange for some work, she was able to stay at the camp free of charge, and score some free meals here and there. Sweet deal! When I went to visit for two weeks, I was able to help the camp develop a more modern website. It was a fun way to keep costs down, learn new things, and get to spend time in Hawaii!

Yellowstone
We’ve spent the past couple of days in Yellowstone National Park. I have never seen such unique and strange beauty in the world. We’re staying The Traveler’s Lodge in West Yellowstone. We have seen Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake, The Old Faithful Inn, mud volcano, crazy steam vents, buffalo, elk, some cascades, people from other countries, the Yellowstone Waterfalls. You name it, we saw it, and it was all very beautiful and impressive.
Tomorrow we will travel through Yellowstone to the Grand Teton National Park. We’ll take our time there before heading to Lost Valley Ranch in Colorado.
Glacier National Park
Hey there again, we’re back in civilization, after spending the past two days in Glacier National Park. It is an absolutely gorgeous and huge place! We arrived yesterday afternoon and lucked into a camping spot in the Apgar Campground. The lake there is full of beautiful clear water, and the pebbled beaches made for a fun time. I took a dip in it and it was chilly but refreshing.
This morning we woke up and took a 12 mile round trip hike way up to a lodge in near one of the glaciers in the park. It was a steep and tiring but totally worth it hike. Once we got back down, Andrew and I jumped in the lake again and we headed on out towards Missoula. There we will spend the night, and head into Yellowstone tomorrow…
