WordPress 2.9 Released for General Public

Super sweet new update to our favorite blogging engine. Check out this video that explains some key new features:
The above video was automatically embedded using the new video embed feature. I just copied and pasted the url of the video from wordpress.tv. My WordPress installation took care of the rest. How cool is that? I’m such a big fan of this cms/blogging platform!

Here’s a neat article about how a non-profit saved a lot of time and money by utilizing one Content Management System to run many different sites. And that content management system is? WORDPRESS. This is inspiring, as I’m currently planning a project that involves multiple websites ideally running off of one WordPress installation. If you have any experience in this area, I would love to hear from you in the comment box!
