I captured this a little after midnight, which wasn’t as close to perigee as it was at sunset, but still figured I should try to get a shot of the moon tonight. It’s 356,577 km away. I used my 70-300mm lens (and have my tripod out on loan), so not the best set up, but it is what it is. Here is a larger version for your desktop, if you want it.
